How can you make a higher platform for player? I've used a example but I think I going to make whole 3-D game from scratch. Code isn't all that hard just have to look at the Help File for some stuff.

first of all you must create the varibles z and zspeed in your main character. then in the step event
{
z += zspeed
}
make sure in your projection code you use this varible.

then in each block that you have, create the varible z also make each blocks z equal to its peak form ground level. so if you have a block that goes form 0 to 12 in height, its z equals 12

then finally under the collision event you just compare z's

{
if z > other.z
then zspeed +=0.25
if z <= other.z
then
{z = other.z
zpeed = 0}
}
